Learning & Development Consultant – ASO6
Location: Adelaide, SA | Flexible working options

Do you enjoy designing engaging learning experiences and helping teams grow? We’re looking for a Learning & Development Consultant to join a supportive, high-performing team in a leading public sector organisation. This contract is an exciting opportunity to design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs that directly support employee development and organisational capability

What your role involves:

  • Conducting detailed learning needs assessments to identify skill gaps and development opportunities.

  • Designing and delivering interactive workshops, training sessions, and seminars that engage diverse teams.

  • Managing the Learning Management System, developing course materials, tracking progress, and generating reports.

  • Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs using feedback, assessment tools, and ROI analysis.

  • Supporting organisational development initiatives, including cross-training, knowledge sharing, and skills mapping.

  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure learning initiatives align with business goals.

About you:

  • Proven experience in training and development, including designing and delivering engaging workshops.

  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design.

  • Experience in assessing training effectiveness and implementing continuous improvement.

  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

  • Understanding of workplace legislation, including Work Health and Safety, and Equal Employment Opportunity principles.

Desirable:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

  • Coaching qualification.

  • Experience using evaluation frameworks such as the Kirkpatrick model.
